SBI PO Admit Card 2026 Out: Download Hall Ticket

The SBI PO Admit Card 2026 has been released for the preliminary examination. Candidates who applied for the Probationary Officer recruitment can now download their hall tickets through the official SBI Careers portal.

The call letter was released on July 22, 2026. The SBI PO preliminary exam will be conducted on August 1 and 2, 2026, for the recruitment of 1,500 Probationary Officers. Candidates need their registration number and password or date of birth to access the admit card.

State Bank of India has activated the Download Online Preliminary Exam Call Letter option under Advertisement No. CRPD/PO/2026-27/09. The link is available in the current openings section of the SBI Careers website.

Candidates should download the hall ticket before the examination date. Do not wait until the last day because the website may become slow due to heavy traffic.

The release date, examination dates, vacancy total and login requirements have been reported alongside the active call-letter notice on the SBI Careers portal.

Candidates should use the official SBI website to download their call letters.

Open the SBI Careers current openings page and look for Recruitment of Probationary Officers – Advertisement No. CRPD/PO/2026-27/09. Under this section, select Download Online Preliminary Exam Call Letter.

Avoid downloading your hall ticket from unknown websites. Third-party pages may provide updates, but candidates should enter their registration details only on the official SBI or authorised IBPS login page.

Follow these simple steps:

2. Open the Careers section.
3. Select Join SBI and then open Current Openings.

The official examination booklet gives detailed instructions about what candidates must bring. You should carry:

• A printed SBI PO prelims call letter
• One recent passport-size photograph fixed to the call letter
• Two additional passport-size photographs
• Original photo identity proof
• One photocopy of the same identity proof
• A ballpoint pen
• Glue for pasting photographs
• An ink stamp pad for the left thumb impression

The photograph attached to the call letter should be the same as the one uploaded during the application process. Candidates may not be allowed to appear without the printed call letter, required photographs, original ID and its photocopy.

• Reach the centre well before the reporting time.
• Fix your photograph on the call letter before leaving home.
• Carry two extra photographs.
• Do not sign the designated candidate-signature space before reaching the hall if the call letter asks you to sign in front of the invigilator.
• Do not carry calculators, mobile phones, books, notes or smart devices.
• Return the rough sheets before leaving the examination room.
• Follow all instructions given by the test administrator.

The official booklet states that mobile phones, calculators, books and written notes are not permitted in the examination hall. It also requires candidates to complete their signature in the presence of the invigilator where instructed.

The preliminary call letter may be stamped or authenticated at the examination centre. Candidates shortlisted for the main examination may need to produce this authenticated prelims call letter along with the stamped copy of their identity proof and the mains call letter.

Store these documents safely after completing the preliminary test.

The preliminary examination will contain 100 objective questions for 100 marks. Candidates will receive a total of 60 minutes, with separate timing for each section.

Questions other than the English Language section will be available in English and Hindi. Each question will have five answer options.

One-fourth of the marks assigned to a question will be deducted for each wrong answer. No mark will be deducted when a question is left unanswered.

The official booklet also states that there will be no sectional cut-off in the preliminary examination. The category-wise merit list will be prepared using candidates’ aggregate prelims scores. Around ten times the number of vacancies in each category may be shortlisted for the main examination.

Contact the official SBI recruitment helpdesk if your application was accepted but the admit card is unavailable, or if important information is incorrect.

• Full-length timed mock tests

Because each section has its own 20-minute limit, practise section-wise tests with the same time restriction. Do not spend too long on one question. Guessing without eliminating options can reduce your score because of negative marking.

Prepare your documents, clothes and travel route the night before the examination. This small step can reduce stress on exam day.
