The UPCATET Admission Form 2026 was released for candidates seeking admission to agriculture, technology, veterinary, fisheries, community science, horticulture, forestry, dairy technology, food technology, postgraduate and Ph.D. programmes in participating agricultural universities of Uttar Pradesh. The entrance test is known as the Uttar Pradesh Combined Agriculture and Technology Entrance Test, and the 2026 session is being conducted through the official UPCATET portal.

For 2026, the online application window opened on 30 March 2026 and was extended up to 15 May 2026, 5:00 PM. UPCATET is mainly for candidates interested in agricultural and allied science courses offered by Uttar Pradesh agricultural universities. The form was available for three major admission levels:

1. Undergraduate programmes
2. Master’s programmes
3. Ph.D. programmes

Candidates appearing in their qualifying examination were also allowed to apply, but they must produce the required marksheet, provisional degree certificate or transcript at the time of counselling or admission.

The age criteria vary according to the course. For B.V.Sc. & A.H., candidates must be at least 17 years and not more than 25 years as on 31 December 2026.

For other undergraduate courses, the age limit is 16 to 22 years as on the same date. SC, ST and OBC candidates get a 5-year relaxation in the upper age limit. There is no age limit for postgraduate courses.

The application fee for UPCATET 2026 is different for category groups. General, OBC and EWS candidates need to pay ₹1350, while SC, ST and women candidates need to pay ₹1100. Bank transaction charges are extra and must be paid by the candidate.
