Preliminary Examination

The Preliminary Examination will have 150 multiple-choice questions for 150 marks. Each question carries 1 mark, and 0.25 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer. The exam duration will be 2 hours.

Minimum qualifying marks in Prelims are:

Mains Examination

The Prelims syllabus includes General Knowledge, Current Affairs, English Language, Constitution of India, Civil Procedure Code, Criminal Procedure Code, Indian Evidence Act, Bharatiya Sakshya Adhiniyam 2023, Bharatiya Nagrik Suraksha Sanhita 2023, Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita 2023, Contract Act, Partnership Act, Arbitration and Conciliation Act, Specific Relief Act, Transfer of Property Act, Negotiable Instruments Act, POCSO Act, SARFAESI Act, Motor Vehicles Act, labour laws, IT Act, intellectual property laws and other major legal subjects.
